Anyonw know where i can buy a sheet of exhaust gasket material? Most oems use this material but my s2k uses a ring (best way i can describe it is like a womans hoop braclet) that crushes into the catback to creat a seal. it’s near impossible to remove even though i have a new one so i’d like to get some exhaust gasket material, the shiny silver mesh kind of material, and cut it and make a new gasket to seal. i have a very small exhaust leak between the cat and the cat-back and it’s annoying me

I know you can order the exhaust gasket from Advance Auto, but they usually don’t stock it and I have no clue how long it takes for them to get it in.

One more option available for exhaust gasket material that is autozone, so just try it.
