# Where to find VW front clip?

Does anyone know of businesses that specialize in the sale of front clips for VW? Looking for a 1.8T for FWD. Need the complete engine assembly, uncut harness, sensors, ECU etc. etc.
All the yards I’ve talked to destroy the harness or don’t have most of the parts that a clip would have.

Contact Bracketracer on here or dubsinthebuff. He has a whole fwd passat he was considering parting out. Or N3d on dubsinthebuff he has a complete swap he was also thinking about selling.
Actually they both work at Blackforest on genesee.
What ya lookin for a motor for? Crazy swap?

1.8ts in passats are not transverse mounted

i know, i have a passat. but when swapping them into mk2 and mk1 you mount them transverse. AEB is the most commonly swapped motor because its non DBW. 🙂

it takes a little bit of motor mount modification but not impossible. i haven’t done this swap but my buddy wants to do one so im going to help, from what ive heard its pretty straight forward and the most difficult part is wiring. its actually becoming the new popular swap into old vw’s cause it already has siqqqqq boooooooost
