# Where to get $1000 from two s13s? anyone know a good yard?

Wondering if anyone off the top knows a good scrap yard or junk yard that might give you about $500 a car?
Yea I know its steep, but I just want 1 grand and walk away.

scrap prices just went down so your lucky to get 200 a piece. i just got 200 and that was for a full size van

yeah, lol, i couldn’t get all the parts off of mine in time, so i missed the high point of scrap steel, lol. not to thread jack, but does anyone know the price for aluminum and copper? copper’s 2.40 a pound up north here, but he’s a cheap fucker.

Scrap was insane high not long ago, $500 a car comon. Scrappers offered $300 for my dads old E-250 work van.

you’ll probably be waiting a while, if you just want to get rid of them just take the 100 bucks or so and be done with them. you could be waiting years for scrap to reach the prices it was at a month or so ago.

in the last week, 1990 acura integra, $300, 1992 nissan pathfinder $500, take it to a reycyclers, pull off the wheels and the gas tank, u get some pretty good money, a freind got $275 for his cavalier and i once got $600 for a big stupid cargo van… so all u people need to stfu before you speak

yea, okay. so you stripped all your scrap cars. (prepped them) batteries, tires, gas tank, propane tanks (if applicable) etc etc.
obviously you get more. especially if it has an o.e.m catalytic converter thats not broken. aluminum rims aluminum whatever. junk inside the vehicle to way it down.
and then of course it comes down to the yard it self. some pay, some don’t.
so don’t be getting cocky.
we’ve scrapped well over 200 cars in the last year or so where i work. i know the in’s and out’s.
and stfu before someone speaks…really. they would not of spoke at all.
in reality you probably should of meant to say “think before you speak”?

copper was at 3.40 a pond in toronto at AAA scrap metal a little wile ago and its gone up.
yea part them out, if you dont want to take the 200 from scrap yard, call me up, im looking for some parts cars. worse come to worse ill part them out for you and we can make a deal on the proffit
