# Where to get CAMS checked?

i just bought a brand new set of cams off of ebay, the are supposidly Shark Racing HIGH cams shafts, i havnt got them yet, but i paid half of what they retail for… (no reserve aucion) the guy who sold them has 100% positive feed back with like a score of 118 or something, and they have the right box, but i want to get them measured for duration etc so i can see what they are, and make srue they are not just STOCKERS

If you know the specs of the stock ams you can just use a set of calipers to measure lift and compare it to the stock cams. Duration on the other hand is a little more tricky.

I was just gunna say… any machine / engine shop will make it work…
OT: Skrapper… I saw an eclipse (newer gen than yours) the other day that was smoking like a sonofabitch yesterday… and thought of your sig… The girl driving should check her mirror more… it’s not good to be guessing your oil consumption in quarts per gallon.

All you need is a dial indicator and a set of V-blocks to check duration.

Could you explain the process step by step?
