steel would work fine as stated with painted bottom and sides. Might just have to hit the top of it with a steel brush every once in a while to get rid of the surface rust. ---

I expected the stainless to be much more. I kinda just want to but it for no real reason. Just lean it against a wall or something. ---

I was surprised the ss was that cheap. Admittedly I have not followed nickel surcharges lately. ---
