# where to get pool table refelted

im buying a pool table and need the slate redone, its a 3 piece and the bumpers are fine just the slate needs a redo in RED… or anyone that does this on the side lol

call rec. warehouse or another place that sells them.if not lmk and i can scrape up the name of a guy from lkpt that does them

I’ve done a few re-felts before and to be honest unless you are getting a great deal it’s quite easy. Took me maybe an hour or so each time.

If youre not doing the bumpers its super easy just look up directions online they show you how to stretch it the right way. I got my felt from Gary Pools over on Union i think it was a couple hundred for enough for slate and bumpers.

I’ve done them before and like has been said… it’s not difficult. Even redoing the bumpers isn’t that difficult.

Only thing that I struggled with was sealing the seams of the slate with the wax… that just took a few tries before I got the hang of it.
