The petition would have put a spot light on representatives to reconsider the rule by a vote of 25,000 people.
Petition only got about half that.
In the day of FaceBook, Forums and Blogs im shocked the social media failed to get 25,000 votes :dunno
Looks like an R32 or CRX SiR are going to have to wait a few more years.

i signed it, but not for the exportation rule, which is why i think it failed. i don’t believe our government should be using money that is suppose to fight “terrorism” to seize illegally imported car. that was the bigger issue at hand, and if it was to pass non-car people would of had to sign it, and advertising that portion of it would of done a lot more then advertising that the import limitation would of been 15 years instead of 25, which doesn’t matter to 99.9% of people.

and you posted a picture from a car blog that is in the states, so that car is probably a u.s. car, esp since florida doesn’t care what you import/register.
