# Where would you take your car?

To get it serviced? Engine related.
Dealer or some neighbour hood shop (not some 2-bit place but something
half decent i.e. Green+Ross).
Assuming you don’t have a personal family/friend who owns a shop.

I never liked em but my dad always taks his shit there and then gets
ass raped with the bills. :ugh:
By half decent I mean tno like some 2-bit Mom-n-Pops Autoshop by some
corner alley.

The best places are independent shops. But that doesn’t mean all independents are the best places… far from it.
If I had to, I’d take my car to a trusted independent mechanic over any crappy tire/jiffy lube/midas type place.

That statement just sounds so contradicting. 🤣
Anywho, the only place we’ve taken our car is Green+Ross. My dad is
ignorant so meh. Not like I’m taking it there.
I’m considering Nissan dealer, but I pretty much know how they work too.
Go in for an oil change and come out with a bill for a new water pump,
radiator, oil pan, muffler, etc. etc. etc. List goes on.

I always goto the dealership, but thats cuz i know everyone that works there and get good deals on parts/labour

i go to avery’s house lol…
my car has never been in a shop, but my parents go to a local shop. really good guy, honest and talented. i’d trust him with my car but i’d rather save the money and deal with my own stuff.
my buddy took his car to canadian tire once. then he was walking down the street after he dropped it off and one of the service guys RIPPPED it past him down the street in HIS car!! haha… he went back and got the guy fired.

Find an independent mechanic you like & trust. Then buy your parts from Nissan and bring them all to him.

and ofcourse:
Nizztex (Keele and Lawrence)
You will not find another shop that knows more about nissans
then Nizztex

there is a shop in niagara here that specializes in old Euro cars, E30 BMW’s and audis from that gen.
the guy that owns it is a long time friend of my fathers and he is completely incapable of dishonesty.
he wont know the particulars of a nissan, but basic stuff he will know
