# Wheres the best place to buy sheetmetal?

I want to buy an approximately 24" x 24" sheet of 20 gauge steel for bodywork that I’ll by doing. Anyone have any reccomendations? Thanks

There are a few places.

[mcmaster.com](http://mcmaster.com) for basic pricing.

then there are a bunch of local places to try.  
Metal supermarket, klein/buffalo steel, and Robert James is where I  
buy most of the stuff I use at work.

+1 for metal supermarket i bought a scrap piece recently was 18 gage approx 3’x4’ for $18.00

Note: I think Buffalo Steel has a $25 or $50 minimum.
