# Which is the Better Offset? ROTA D2's

Im currently looking into buying the ROTA D2’s in the 18 x 9.0 4h x 114.3 package. They offer a +30 or +35 offset in this wheel, so which is the best for an s13 with out any modification and flush as possible?

+30 is better than +35. It should fit without any mods, but really, you want to roll your fenders anyway. Life is always better when you roll 😉

quiet you!
With that setup you should not NEED a roll unless you are really slammed and have no camber.
As Solarian mentioned though, life is better with a roll.

true life is better when you roll. im about 2 inchs lower all the way around. also wheres the best place to get a good price on these rims?

There is an old saying in the auto enthusiasts community and it goes something like this…
“Friends don’t let friends roll on Rotas”
But I’m not your friend 🙂 So I really dont care what you buy, however please take my suggestion and look in to SSR SP1’s instead. Similar, but not pieces of shit.

Aside from that clever catch fraise wuts wrong with these wheels in the 18 package they fit nice on a s13 especially in the red. Is there a problem in the way rota makes there wheels?? How much are these wheels worth new?

i dont have a lot of information on why they are crap, they are just really cheap quality wheels.
they look ok, but there have been cases of people literally cracking the spokes from hard cornering.
like, literally without hitting anything just spoke cracked right in two.
search online you’ll find lots of pics.

Lookin at the pics non of these wheels are D2’s so maybe rota got sumtin rite with the d2’s. fuck i love the fitment adn color but you guys kno more so i guess stay away from rotas no matter what?
