# Which Remote start?

Because its what I would be using everyday, the only part of what I am buying that actually gets used/seen.

I just hate aftermarket things I guess (head units for example). I like the fit/finish/quality of oem pieces. So something with a stub antenna or LCD screen is just totally unnecessary and ugly to me.

Since an OEM retrofit is economically pointless and cant utilize remote start here we are.

bump, bought a viper 771xv from speedracer18t last night

so now I want to get a ‘beep’ module, instead of using the horn when it locks

there has to be a better/cheaper way. the one above seems to have a lot of extra wires and that relay box that probably isnt needed.

Compustar has a one horn beep after lock is pressed twice.

I hate to rub it in, but Compustar is a WAY better unit for more reasons than horn honk upon lock.

I think its like a ford vs chevy thing. there isnt really a reason why I like chevy more. its just how it is. not feelin the compustar units at all.

this will do all I need it to. and I am sure if I buy the top of the line python or whatever it would do it all too, but I am a poor college student and unemployed in 2 weeks. so its perfect. lol
