Sure its fun to slide around. But snow causes 240s to get totalled by
stupid motorists, and is the reason its nearly impossible to find a 240 with a good frame these days.
I look at snow, and think of all the holes I’ve seen in 240s. This makes
me hate snow.

Andy don’t hate the snow !! Its just people should put them away,save some money to put into there cars. Sooner than you would know it would be spring time and you will have all this saved up money to waste on it.

Errr… either that or your girlfriend and x-mas shopping will eat your money and leave you a poor and bitter jerk in the spring 😃
I’m at a point where I’ve given up on having an engine swap this upcoming summer… Prolly gonna get real coilovers and Z brakes and keep the rest stock for now. Wheee… another year of NOT going fast 😃

Engine swaps don’t make THAT much of a diffrence. It’s only a 30-40 hp addition to what u have now. It’s parts for the SR that make you fast 😉

And 30-40hp isnt’a lot??? :lol:
I don’t know what the 240 would feel like with another 30-40 cause I just bought it and barely ever drove it, but you throw in 30-40hp on the celica, and you’ll feel a difference. I’d guess it’d be the same on anything under like… 4000lbs.

If that’s all the hp you want then you can get to that level on a ka for much cheaper than going SR or even turbo for that matter.

for sure man. intake exhaust header… just doing those mods will already give u a noticeable improvement in power. then as you upgrade u can go on to doing some engine internals… cams etc… and if you get greedy pop on a turbo
