They say that the Black River near Watertown is awesome… 70+ degree water & class III & IV rapids… When I went rafting on the Hudson northeast of Blue Mountain Lake, it was mid March, and the water was 35\*, and it snowed that day. I assume it takes up the entire day, and it’s available on weekends. Not counting food and getting there what do these events usually run? Any sort of training necessary prior? Any equipment you need to own? ---

you can go for like an hour on the sacendaga river or like 6 hours (17 miles) on the hudson. The hudson is class 3 and 4 rapids. thats what im doing in 2 weeks. ---

And the link I posted has info on cost, and says that the price includes a snack on the river & cookout afterwards… ---
