So I got a free Ac unit, and stuck it in the only opening there was haha

Not waking up in 84º heat… priceless.
The only upright ac unit worth it, is on backorder.

We had a new furnace & CA done at the same time, it was just under 7 in total.
IIRC the CA, piping, 220v was ~3k of it.

I just bought the 6500BTU Zenith air conditioner from Home Depot, $139 and they still had a few lest as of yesterday. I woke up cold! I had to add a blanket and turn it down via my remote. Slept like a baby. And it drowns out all of the noise from outside. I can’t believe I went 23 years without one.

I love my CA. The house we just bought has a CA unit that is oringal to the house…it was built in 1978. FML.
I hope it at least lasts through this summer.
