# Who can do timing belt on 1999 camry?

Well a friend car had the waterpump on his 1999 4 cyc camary go bad and the car died on him. So he llooking to see If anyone can do the timing belt, water pump and what ever is needed to get the car back up and running. What is the typical price someone would charge to do this on the side. And also if you know anyone that can do it would be great.

If it overheated its going to be alot bigger job than a tb/wp

the car never overheated from what i was told it just had this bad bad noise coming from the waterpump location and radiator fluid came out of the timing cover. then it just died, the car was only on for like 2 min

If its just the waterpump and belt there is no problem. but if the belt skipped and the timing went off than he could have bent a valve or two. I cant remember if the camry had an interference angine but I am pretty sure that it did. PM me if you like.
