lol, I’d be able to tell if it was mine by a distinctive scratch on the rear; maybe the moron left it in the same case when he sold it, who knows. Not sure exactly how it was taken. It could have slipped out of my pocket, or have been snatched from the table. Either way, the place was packed, loud, and I was drinking beer. I’m usually pretty attentive with my phone, but even a few seconds of inattention could be enough opportunity for someone to take it. Lesson learned! ---

I feel your pain. Somewhere in Thailand there’s a housekeeper with my baby, er, I mean, iphone 3GS. No really, iphone got ganked the one time we forgot to lock it in the safe before we left the room for a few hours at a guest house Thailand. Why do apple products always attract bad people? ---

What i wanna know, is if you have an iPhone 4, why you didn’t have Mobile ME activated. It’s FREE to iphone 4 users, and you could have locked the phone when you got home, and prevented him from using it. You could have also GPS tracked it. If he takes the sim card out, and you had locked your phone, it’d be useless. Also, your carrier has your IMEI number, so report it stolen to them, when someone new registers it, they’re caught.
