Harbor freight sells HVLP guns for like $40 and I got 2 bright as hell shop lights if you wanna borrow them. ---

can someone clear up a few things about wet-sanding? what grits do u use? should a sanding block be used or just paper in hand? If block should be used, what size sanding block do u recommend? ---

^^^^ 1000 for the big stuff, finner (1500 / 2000) for small orange peel and for making it easier to buff ALWAYS USE A BLOCK FOR ANY SANDING YOU DO ON A PANEL U WANT STRAIGHT get a foam snading pa for the big areas, short sections of paint sticks are good for tight areas ---

Will that do the trick? ---

get a foam block, and start with 1000 grit for between coats. see how the last coat lays. you may be able to get away with 1500, 2000, and then buffing ---

where should one go to buy a foam sanding block? would a small rubber one work? ---

[/quote] the soft ones are much better for wet sanding paint you dont want to screw up its REALY hard to get the edge of a soft block to dig in and ruin paint ---
