# Who can shorten an axle?

Xcel does alot of Napa’s rebuilds

I had one bad alternator from there and they warrantied it with no issue. Other than that no problems with any starters, alternators or axles I bought there and I bought a few of each.

Never have had an issue with anything Xcel has rebuilt for me, but have had numerous failures on NAPA rebuilds, some dead right out of the box.

Sent the axle out to an Audi tuner in Vegas to take care of the shortening. Couldn’t source a shorter oem shaft so this is the easiest route. He has done them before:
