I towed my T/A up there from NC using my Tahoe with no brake controller just fine. Come to think of it, the Penske truck I moved back to NC with didn’t have a brake controller either and I used it to tow the BMW.

Penske wouldn’t rent me just a trailer. They wouldn’t let me tow it with anything but a penske truck. So you. Have to rent a moving truck and the trailer if you just want to use the trailer from them. Very dumb.
Use Uhaul
