It is a sts car, so its easier, but alot of time the car had 2-4 people in it. I’m going with the HD too…too many random horror stories with Specs for me to put one in my car. It seems like everyone who has the Ram, whether it’s the regular one or the HD love them. New Era’s got a really good deal on 'em too. ---

you guys like HD’s huh… i have a spec stage 3… everyone i run into has Spec, never herd of any problems… somethign to think about though when i need a new one. ---

Ive never had any issues with spec, and will continue to purchase from them. Their customer service has been nothing short of amazing for me. ---

No specs for me replaced and had and seen way to many problems. Can’t wait for people to start rocking their new twinplates… ---

As usual you hear the bad but nobody gives the credit where credit is due. HAD?!?!?! quitter :spank: my spec 3 was great. easy pedal, good feel, didnt stick, etc. i knew it wasn’t going to hold the new build, 2 years ago, so i stepped it up to the spec 5 solid iron disc over winter. although a bit rougher and much different feel than a sprung carbon disc, once you learn the feel, drivability was 🆙, it NEVER slipped even when it was riding :tup:, it still holds strong after a LOT of abuse :tup:, no break in :tup:, great price for the capacity :tup: the downsides, spec includes a shim for the slave, but doesn’t tell you when and when not to use it. i used it, and at that time the clutch was slipping. so that was inconvenient that i had to drop the trans to remove it. no biggy though. the random squeel from a red light :tdown:. lack of slipability :tdown: but you cant have everything. i drove chucks car with the spec 4+. carbon, unsprung. that’s a really nice clutch, and was hoping to get one of those, but unfortunatelly it just wont hold the tq. chucks been starting to get some slippage as well. the only other alternative is to spend $1500+ for a twin disc that can hold 1300+ fwtq ---
