how can you tell the views? also, you get paid from just displaying the ad too, people dont have to click. im sure it generates $20+/month ---

The same could be asked about who keeps the membership fees but hey, whos counting right? When it comes down to it - it’s really none of our business as far as I’m concerned. ---

If SON had promised that the membership fees would go towards bandwidth and boots and events then I would be totally with you on this one… But alas, as far as I know at least, that is not the case. :-/ ---

all of the funds are currently in one large fund… however we have not had much use past bandwidth to put it to use. over this winter, as we have said before, the board as a whole is going under a large overhaul look to the spring time for some real nice changes in favor of our members. and really, do the admin seem THAT shady to be stealing the money for our own personal use? i dont think so. No: John believes that it’s not up to him how his money is handled; I disagreed. You were upfront when I paid my membership and I’ve seen my dues put to use in terms of bandwidth and booths. Let me qualify, when i talked to you about paying membership dues, you explained to me the situation SON was in, what was required and what future plans were in place (booth, bandwidth, hosting, etc) In my case, i’ve seen the original membership payment used. Yes: Where’s the disclosure? Without disclosure people tend to question and wonder what’s going on. Bing, you are the only person I know who is in “leadership” in SON. I don’t know the other guys, met them once, maybe… I can’t expect you to control everything… ---
