Have had my Mustang since April, '97ā¦so Iām on 12 years now, yikes!!!
I plan on keeping that car forever. Thatās my āI bought it at 16 with my own moneyā carā¦really donāt want to be like all the old timers who gripe about that one car they had in their youthā¦

1999 Mercury Cougar (5 speed, I4): 6/2004 - 5/2006 (owned but not driven until 7/06)
2002 Subaru Impreza TS (Auto): 5/2006 - 3/2008 (owned but not driven until 6/08)
2002 MINI Cooper S (6 speed): 3/2008 - Present

thats my friendās (z28adiction) uncleā¦ its a 1969 Chevelle SS 396, completely orig with 22k miles.

Prior to that, the grand amā¦which isnāt still mine but still is in my householdā¦which would be 6 years this yearā¦but thatās about it.

i had a pickup truck 3/4 ton chevy for 15 years rebuilt the motor once but it had to go after the body started to fall off the frame and was afriad the kids were gonna cut themselves getting in and out the truck. i have now a silverado is going on 8 years run them into the ground then get a new one

I got the cavy in Feb of 1992 (my first car at 16). I still have it. Up to a couple years ago it was basically functional all the time. So thats 17 years.
