My mother and I combined owned a 1987 camaro from 1987 until august 2004. That was about 18 years and 80,000 miles. Then sold it the week before I started college. Then she bought it back last month.

Really? Shit, I thought this was the 4th summer for the vette, though I did buy it at the end of the season. You have to be right though because I have worked at Derrick going on 2 years 7 months and I just bought the car prior to that.
I thought I did one summer stock/one with full exhaust/one with h/c/now this summer.
So longest owned car for me might be my old S-10 actually.

I had an old beat up Dodge Dakota for almost 5 years. lol
Other than that I had a 911 for about 5 years but drove it for only 1 or 2 years.
I think it cost me about $500/mile with all of the money I dumped into it. lol

Had my first bonneville 3 years, and my second one for almost 5. just sold it two weeks ago. Granted the first 6 months I didn’t drive it due to needing a motor.
I believe the acura will be 3 years this fall. Most of my other cars have been listed in weeks, not months.

Longest I’ve had a “toy” car would be the Mustang 7/24/2007 - Present, but it hasn’t been on the road in about a year.

MORON, this is the 4th summer with our cars.
But it won’t be till may for me, and august for you that we hit 3 years. It’s not like the first summer counts towards a calendar year.
My dad has one of those non running “restore it some day” cars. It was his DD/winter car in the 70’s. The car is a 59 TR3 with removable hard top, he also had a 71 camaro at the time. It has sat for 25 years after he started taking it apart to restore and never really got around to it. We still have brand new michelin’s we never put on that are 30 years old and have no dry rot. It’s a rust bucket, but I powder coated the wheels black and put used redlines on it for shits.
I like that the 2 longest owned board member cars so far are a nissan nx1600 and a cavalier. Some mustangs and muscles cars come close but the top two are awesome.
I plan on buying a 2010 grabber blue mustang and keeping it forever.

Thanks for the props! This car has been sprayed one to two times a year to protect it from rust and Ontario winter road salt. This is the car last summer at Calabogie Motorsports Park. My kids were 4 and 3 when I bought it - now they both drive it on road courses with me.
