# Who has sold a car on ebay?

i am thinking about putting my car up on ebay to get rid of it but have a few questions for the people who sold a car on there. what are the final cost fees for selling it, how did you arrange transportation of the car and did you have to take paypal?

depends on the final price of the sale, i use uship for shipping, and no you dont have to take paypal.

Yes,I’ve sold a car on ebay.
Fees will vary,don’t accept paypal,buyer arranges transportation.Buyer won my car,paid me the $200 non-refundable deposit that I requested in the auction,came to my house and paid the rest in full and drove it away.

I have sold many cars on eBay. The fees DO NOT vary. They are a flat rate that just recently changed. FREE to list and $125 if it sells, $7 for a reserve (which I never use). Post the ad for what you want to sell it for. Don’t waste peoples time and your money with a reserve.

the 2 main things i was worried about was the final value fee since their fees are getting out of hand now and having to only accept paypal and get charged with another crazy fee

sold a car on ebay, make sure you have the buyer deal with the transport… can be a huge hassle in some cases, you dont want to be responsible for it. I took my payment in the form of a cashiers check.
