# Who here goes to UTM?

Just curious…
parking fees + gas are going to cost me well upwards of $3000 this year and I was wondering how the hell you guys get there?
public transportation from richmond hill is gonna rape me in the time department, i have no idea how the hell to get to school, lol.
to the guys that go to UTM, what are your solutions?

me and ramesh do (silvia drift), we’re a 5 minutes drive from campus.
We dont pay for parking, i made it through the year with like 4 parking tickets (25$ each), not paying the parking was worth it imo, its like 600$ for crap parking, id rather take my chances 😛

$1069/year from what i read. Problem is i live like 60km away from utm in the first place… the drive itself rapes me even more.

my cosuin goes to UTM, i usually go there to study since it’s 5 minutes from where i live. i’ve parked there countless times without paying and only got one $20 parking ticket. doesn’t full price for the day cost 20 bucks? either way, it’s easier and cheaper to weasel it imo.

look for public parking in missisauga, or rent a spot near to the campus, and bus it to school!! i guess, lolz

there are “No Parking” signs all along Mississauga Rd. and the surrounding neighbourhoods. even if you find a spot not too far, you’d most likely still have to bus it, so in the end it’s a whole lot of trouble for nothing.

just park at erindale park and walk from there lol or ask that church nearby how much parking for the year would be its usually alot cheaper thats what i did on my campus instead of 600$ for the year i paid $150

hahaha dude i worked there last summer, i was one of the plumbers so i sat around all day doing nothing hahahaha grate times… but anyhow if u find those lazy ass electritions im sure one of them will be willing to part with there parking pass for 100 bucks or so and then u can park in the middle of the football fild if u want… anyhow… even if they say yes or no dont tell them i said it lol

Is there a bus that goes south on mississauaga rd. from the Erin Mills & Mississauga intersection? (where a GO bus would drop me off)

My brother goes to ryerson, parking is brutal there as well. a $790 pass does it though.

I believe the 48 goes south on mississauga. Try the maps here:

get a sr20 and save on gas
it will pay for itself
also sell drugs at school to help offset the gas prices
