Okay just for those who can’t take a joke, I got nothing against Ginos if anything my surounded by Ginos almost everyone on my Street is Italian or Greek, my Girlfriend is half Calabrese half Sicilian and I live just south of Woodbridge and I got some Gino friends that I bug all the time about them being Ginos. And there is nothing wrong with Steve B, I personally like his music, and there is nothing wrong with Irocs and GTA’s I love those cars and if you don’t like it go eat a canoli or I will get Rocco with his cousin Vito and Quido with his cousin Pasqualli to come break your knee caps, capish? :lol: Oh! I hear little suzy pumping I got to go… :lol: …But they are still fun to pick on :lol: ! ---

I am prob a little older then most of you and back in the day all gino’s drove were Mustang’s and IROC’s (italian retard out cruising). There is a club called Rumor’s at the top of Clfton hill in Niagara Falls, this was gino cental there would be an hour line up 3 nights out of the week. Now this would discourage some people from going there but not me. There was a simple saloution to geting ride of the line, and it was this as we walked past the line we simply screemed out that there was a mustang or camaro on fire in the back parking lot. The line would clear of most all the guy leaving all there girls standing there. Just like that the line was reduced to a 20 min line full of girls. TRUE STORY ---

I remember like 10 - 12 years ago I used to hang out at the Texas pit on HW7 or at Pockets at HW7 and Weston rd. where everyone would gather on Friday and Saturday nights and there would be hundreds of cars and most of the ginos all drove Mustangs or Camaros or Firebirds and some guys would have some realy serious cars they would bring them in on trailers to race them on HW50. … You know what the best thing was back in those days… Unlike today people back then actually raced instead of hanging out at a Tim Hortons parking lot and no matter what kind of car people drove they always raced, anything would go! I even raced my Buick back then and my friends were always suprised by some of the cars that thing would beat. The racing would start from 1 am to 7 am it was crazy race after race and the cops very rarely got involved, the only time they would get involved is when the racers would block off the road, I remember one time we shut down HW400 south bound for like 5 minutes to see 3 races mind you back then HW400 was only like 2 lanes north of HW7 and 3 south of HW7 and the 407 didn’t even exist… Dude those were the days man! ---

Heh … I don’t know any of you, so I’m not going to vote. I didn’t know what a Gino was until I moved to TO. They were usually laughed at and later had sense beaten into them. Then I wondered how my high 13-second car kept beating all these 9-11 second cars I kept coming across. Then I dated a Macedonian/Italian girl and it all made sense. Hehehe … makes owning muscle fun. There’s a Tim Hortons in Woodbridge on HWY 7 … I can’t remember exactly where, but it was in the same mall as a Greek restaurant, and I think maybe a McDs or something … Anyway, we drove in there, basically intent on finding easy pickings. When my buddy shut off his Fury, he revved the motor once. Common practice in carb cars to keep fuel there when you go to start up again. I’ve never seen anything like it. Guys were running from the Tims to their cars to start them. Within seconds there were 5 or more Honda engines being revved up to the limiter. Then they all tried to stare us down (hard when your car sits eye level to a 4 year old). Walked into the tims, got a coffee (memory fading … mebbe it was a Coffee Time?) and I guess I somehow looked at someone’s girlfriend and this guy was trying to get in my face over it. You could have cut the testosterone with a cheese knife. All show no go … in life and on the road … That’s my Gino definition. Mange cakes can just as easily fall into the Gino category. It’s a socially contracted disease. Just for the record, in my day, more Ginos drove 5.0 Mustangs than Camaros. Then again, where I come from, Camaros and Firebirds are reserved for switch-blade-in-the-sock rednecks. But what’s a redneck other than a Gino’s inbred cousin?
