Ive noticed quite a few people on here have some sort of military background so out of curiosity i want a show of who’s done what try to follow my outline (Branch) NY Army national guard (Rank) E-4 (Mos) 63B Wheeled vehicle mechanic (Duty station) Conn. st armory, Buffalo NY (Time in service) About 2 years so far… plan on doing full 20 (Aditional schools) CLS (Combat Life Saver) ---

2yrs in and youve got e4 already? i love the army’s promotion system. anyway i did my 4 in the marines and ive seen plenty of lifers change their minds and get out. so dont be too sure about the 20yrs ---

Round 1 (Branch) Army (Rank) E-4 (Mos) 13B & 77F (Duty station) 277th Qm Spent time at Ft. Drum NY, Ft Picket Va, Ft. Leonardwood Mo, and Eygept (Time in service) 6.5 (Aditional schools) Combat life saver. Round 2 (Branch) Air Force Reserve (Rank) E-4 (Mos) 3P035 Security Forces (Duty station) 914 SF Spent time at Lackland AFB TX (Time in service) 2 years (Aditional schools) Looking at going to Raven School and Combat Arms I should have stayed Army. I would have been working on getting E-6 if not E-7 by now. The promotion system in the AF sux… ---

(Branch) USAF (Rank) Military Brat (MOS) pain in the ass (Duty Station) Tyndall AFB, Panama City, FL, Eglin AFB, Destin, FL, Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS, Youngstown AFB, Youngstown, OH, Grissom AFB, Peru, IN, Niagara Falls AFB, NF, NY (Time in service) nearing my 24yr commitment 😛 Seriously, I should have joined the military, I was gonna then cars got into me faster than heroin into a hooker. My fathers side of the family are all in the military including my father, everyone else is a Colonel. My father has since retired an E8 at grissom, my cousin is in the AF academy at colorado springs. I could have had a lucrative career in the AF. Oh well life goes on. 🙂 ---

(branch) Marine corps reserve (rank) E-3 (MOS) 0331 Machinegunner (Duty station) 3/25 4th Marines out of buffalo 3porter ave I’ve done a float that hit up peru, dominican republic, carasal, and aruba. then a 9 month tour in iraq (time in service) a little over 2 years (additonal schools) Combat life saver, Slack, humvee driver, Advanced Machine gunner and satelite patrol/saso. ---
