I have been to (IIRC) 4 of the All Chrysler shows at Carlisle and one of the Custom Compact shows. The crowds were insanely different. After the show, all of the mopar people eat a lot, then sit in lawn chairs by the side of the road, and watch the cars go by slowly. then they all crash in their hotel rooms by 9:30. The hotels typically don’t have 20 people crashed in a room either.

The people who live around the show expect and deserve this kind of behavior.

I am shooting down to the classic import show this upcoming weekend and I bet they won’t bother the old timers. Nor will the bother the Mopar people in July either. Because they bring a lot more $$ into town and they act civil.
