you are more :greddy: then i thought. Seriously what gives you the idea 4 bangers idea to purchase, not going to assume why, but know the cause. MPG smaller motor trucks = fail tree hugger. ---

i drove a four cylinder Ranger for McCandless Auto Parts back in the day. The mileage was pretty fucking good. ---

I have to admit when i did courier company truck. the 4 banger 16v felt like a v6. was it a 5 speed? ---

my dad has a 4-banger 4x4 5-spd ranger, I think it’s a 91 or so. He gets about 25mpg in town and about the same on the highway. :dunno: It is a turd though. Going up most hills requires 2nd gear at redline just to keep it moving. ---
