I pretty sure that’s what the other towns are doing now. The money events like that bring in is hard to pass up, and a _vacation_ town such as LG enjoyed it for years. You can bet that they will feel it if Americade leaves. ---

I’ve read that Killington, VT has been flashing all kinds of natural DD incentive boobies at Americade to have them move the event there. Speculation is it is close to a done deal. If you look at the DEC’s permit fee in that article, it almost looks like they are telling Americade to GTFO of NY… ---

Im hopefully going atleast Saturday and I dont give a fuck about the bikes. LG definately does suck without the events like Americade and the Adirondack Nationals. I never go there unless something big is happening because its boring and overpriced up there. ---

VT sucks for shit to do. There is plenty of room for more bikes and parking at Killington, not to mention its out of the way and not in direct traffic on Route 9. But the event seems more fitting at Lake George, to me anyway. ---

I was up there earlier this week with the gf and the dog, as usual there was plenty of bikes but not as many as I remember there being in the past during the week. Once the weekend strolls around though Im sure it will be an absolute circus, even if a lot less bikers didnt show up itd still be so crowded itd probably be hard to tell the difference. ---
