Link is working in travisn’s quote but not the original post lol.

> I bought a 75 kawasaki f7 175 for $300, ran well. no title so I got a good frame from ebay for $100, got dot tires for it, rebuilt the forks, messed with the bulbs (6v sucks). Ran all last winter, ate a piston in april. I just got it rebuilt for $200 (parts and $75 to bore the cylinder .020 over).
>
> I’d say go for it, try $700. Don’t plan on riding it on any road with a 55+ speed limit. works great around town. If it doesn’t have a title you will have to buy a '72 and older frame. Then, with a bill of sale from the older frame, you’ll be able to get it registered. newer than that and you are sol

The ad said it has a title. I live in Amherst and work in north buffalo so I would ride this all the way down Sheridan. I’m sure I could take the railroad tracks part of the way also. Haha

ha thanks.

once i sell my other bikes this is going to get a complete makeover so it will look pretty different if youre in the know.
otherwise it will still just look like a motorcycle.

anyway my brake is my right foot control.
my clutch is my left foot control.
my shifting is done by hand behind me.

some Rochester bikes:

**1972 Honda CB350 - $500**

seat looks like a rookie attempt at best, needs wiring done (easy), but looks to have a 350f tank on it…which is sweet!

**1978 Honda CB550 - Make Offer**

hideous paint but rest looks in nice shape…would be a good buy in the $500-700 range

**1979 Kawasaki KZ6750 - $850**

this is huge for a twin cylinder bike. could be cool with some effort and imagination

**1982 Kawasaki KZ550 - $600**

pic is blurry, but for $600 if it’s a running/riding machine you can’t really go wrong.

**1974 Honda CL450 - $600**

what a gem! same as a cb450 just different tank/seat and the high pipes. swap a different tank and make a cool seat and this bike could be perfect!

**1981 Kawasaki KZ550 - $500**

looks great for the price

There’s a place in canada with replicas of the moto3 that are apparently DOT compliant…for like $175…it’s a thought, but I’ve been rocking a mix of regular full-face and some simple brain buckets…I should really upgrade my helmet situation.

yeah, I love the vintage look…I mean, they can’t be any worse than wearing a halfie…but still, if I’m wearing a full face it’s for a reason…I wish biltwell would do more DOT models than just the gringo.

I’m holding off with the Moto3 and AFX vintage full faces until i’m ready to scoop an all white Shoei RF1100. I’ll agree my lids aren’t the safest.

Shit, with the money people are paying for mine I could sell them both, buy an RF1100 and still have cash left over.

Went to Syracuse with Mike (Lightemup) and picked up a 1977 CB550F Super Sport. It’s been fully restored from bare frame up. Going to clean a few things up and put a new set of tires on it and that’s it. Super stoked with the purchase, she’s minty and a real Super Sport.

Is there a difference between a cb550 compsired to a 450 or 650 in terms of part availability/prices?

550 is much easier to find parts for the 450 or 650. the only honda easier to find parts for is the 750.
