It’s an irritant to say the least…
The horn worked intermittantly, it’s fixed now…
The tires are down to wear bars… and are less then 3mm tread depth…

The problem is getting the stuff here, but it is possible.
… i have something else techline on its way to my house, its secret though.

So what would have happened if you’d had a fully done-up SR/RB with (and b) without…) all legalities & emissions equipment hooked up?
Would they contact your insurance company? Recogize the swap right away? Or would they care at all if all emissions stuff is there? Did any of this kind of stuff get mentioned?
I only ask because everything the police seem to be doing/trying is so wishy-washy…and that’s without even touching on the aforementioned “profiling” and “harassment” issues…albeit fair enough on your tire’s wear-bar problem. I just don’t get it though; if they want to find cars that aren’t road-worthy, why not just pull over the rusted 80’s Camry’s and horrible vans/trucks that actually pose any viable threat?
Pretty soon everyone spotted with a red valve cover is going to be getting street “Racing” tickets. :roll:

well can i say i told you so?
i told you all of our blitz stories last year…and i warned of it this year.
i used to get fallowed around town, as soon as i got off the highway on the way home from work in muskoka on friday nights. Bang they were on me…i received clsoe to $3000 in tickets on 1 particular day, ad only thru court did i get them all thrown out…nissan silvia my ass!
Well welcome all to what kitchener, cambridge, guelph, and waterloo went thru lastyear. Enjoy being harassed for no reason like bob was.
sorrry bob, betetr luck next time…do what i did…drive the 240 to work out of town all week then drive a beatup and smashed up jeep thru the blitz over and over again without a second look.

I’m going to keep driving it the same as I always do… I drove it back up to woodbine and 16th the following Monday…
If you are willing to let the man bring you down then go ahead and give in…
The tires simply need to be fixed.
In terms of motors, the impression I got, was that as long as emissions equipment is left in tact, the motor runs well, and so and and so forth. It’s not a big deal. That was my impression.
The car looks ok, it looks better with the skirts on, and it hides the rear muffler more.
I believe as long as the MTO officer see’s the upgraded suspension and brakes along with an upgraded motor, and he knows you track it, he may get the feeling you’ve upgraded all necessary components to handle the power and not give you a hard time.
With that being said, you may not be so lucky.
Thats the way it is.
Insurance will not be notified, unless you perhaps find a go getter cop, or tell them, the insurance company doesn’t know about it.
In my case I told them they did.

We would be faster but we have too many of those slutty hot western girls holding on and slowing us down
Luckily for waterloo you guys have the opposite problem. Too many ug girls chasing after you means you can turn up the speed 😉
