# Why?

You take icecream, you put it in a blender.
You add milk and blend. (unless you are from the south and have a 47th chromosome, then you add ice aswell)
But traditionally its milk and ice cream.
Why the fuck is it called a Milkshake?
Also on another side note, why does McDonalds call it a shake, they dont shake it.
I know they had to stop calling it a milk shake because it dosent contain enough milk but why a shake?
Before blenders, Im sure they stirred it, but if you shook it, it wouldnt be close to the same.
Explain.

oh oh …
Ingredients:
1 cup soy milk
1 banana
1-2 tbsp sweetened cocoa
2 tbsp cashew nuts
Preparation:
Blend together all ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.
Serves one.
* * *
just if you wanted two
Ingredients:
1 cup soy milk (other other milk alternative, such as almond milk)
1 banana
1 - 2 tbsp sweetened chocolate powder, carob powder, or chocolate syrup. Add more if desired!
OR
1 cup frozen or fresh fruit/berries of choice (for a fruit-flavored shake)
2 tbsp cashews (optional)
Directions:
Put all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth!
