# Why?

Why is it that when I turn on my heater or A/C my idle goes from 750-800rpm to close to 1500rpm. It does it most of the time but sometimes it dosn’t do it. Does anyone else have this problem? Is something wrong here?

It’s just your compressor that takes a long of energy to run so the engine has to rev higher to produce it.
