so some back story
Truck parked in driveway off East Henrettia Road (in Rochester NY)
5 am in the morning roommate wakes to loud crash
Finds truck spun 270 deg from where it was parked and in a group of trees. thing is busted
toyota corolla hit 2 trees and my truck. guy fell asleep at the wheel.
so now my 2000 toyota tacoma trd 4x4 with push button electric rear locker is worth alot less…
just gotta see if its totaled or not.

frame is bent…and the bed is pushed in 2 inches into the cab.
the fucker also took up my under bed spare tire.
insurance guy hasnt come by yet, but my body guy said to do it will probably be anywhere from 8k-10k USD after the frame work, body work, and paint.
the rear taillights alone cost 500 bucks each…i was like damn

Sounds like your body shop guy is doing the insco dance lol I found new in the box OEM Tacoma tails for $150USD each. Even with getting the frame pulled you shouldn’t be seeing more than $5000USD in damage, given what I see in the pics. It’s funny how the body shop see insurance company money and all the prices go up by 300% LMAO. For the money your guy wants for tails you can replace HID headlights.

well it is the toyota dealer thats doing the work…so the price will be high. as long as it is fixed right then the hell if i care. the toyota dealer that is doing the work has one of those nifty laser measuring frame machines that does all the work for you.
