# Wideband O2. What do you guys think?

I don’t know about that particulat one, but it is same price as all the rest. Widebands from what I have read are great. Esspecially for tuning that SAFC or any other fuel management system.
I say go for it man, good tool to have if you going to be playing with fuel mixture.

Its a great device if you plan to do some serious tuning.
Shops charge $35/hr to have one of these bad boys hooked up to your car during tuning.

The onlything is if Andrew wants to use it Souljourner has to remove it
from his manifold and install it in Andrews 02 Bung and thats kind of a
PIA. Also you have to make a new hole for this unit unless you want to
drive your car around without the ECU getting an O2 Reading.

I though the puspose of these was for tuning SAFC or other fuel managment system. Its in all the time? Maybe I need to be edjucated properlly on these then. Research time.
EDIT: all it does is give you an Air fuel mixture reading with different variables. SO you can tune accordingly on lets say an SAFC correct? You can also prob split off the O2 sensor so you can have this one connected to the ecu too correct?

Actually, some of the wideband O2 controllers have a narrow band output. So yes, you can actually use it in place of your stock O2 Sensor.
