# widebody installation - rear quarters

soo I got this wide body kit it’s about +50mm wider … … I don’t think in 1984 did they follow 30mm or 50mm

lol I’m stuck at the rear quarter panels., the original quarter panels, what should I do about them… cut? or ?

when I test fitted the rears… theres like more than 5 cm from the inside wheel well lip and the outside of the fiberglass wheel well lip.  
should I just cut the lip and hammer the wheel well arch forward? or just try to do the hammering w/out cutting?

I failed at searching no nico forums … either that… I didn’t use the right words… overfenders?

I have to do the same soon, this thread on zilvia is pretty helpful. Gives you an idea of what exactly has to happen.
