# Wierd leak

Ok so heres my problem.

I have a leak on the car i cant tell where its coming from but when i drive the car and then it sits it leaks directly shifter or so it seems. I just underwent an engine swap and its not engine oil because my engine oil is black and needs to be changed and the trans oil is reused from before.

The oil thats dripping is brandnew oil. Where can this be coming from?

technical name is “output shaft seal” if you go to order it.

i think its 10-15 from nissan. they are cheep.

dont go to Scarborough nissan, worst ever for orering parts. ive orders 3 of the same part from different guys each time over a week and 2 months later i still dont have the part.

easy to install, should take and hour.

if it’s leakin directly below the shifter…uh i would say the shifter gasket. either put one in and silicone. the right stuff! it’s amazing. should take no more than half hour
