# WIFI signal booster

I have a wireless network card in my pc with 2 antennas. I need to find someone that has a signal booster so that i can get a better signal from my router. Omnidirectional antenna would work the best but any will work for now.

it is a 150ft range so that is not going to help much.

Get a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 router, and flash DD-WRT on it.

Or find a WHR-HP-G54-DD with DD-WRT pre loaded. Set the transmit power to 54mW and call it a day. Should be 2-8x the power of your current model, along with a various tweaks designed for long range links.

Theyre $20-80, commonly $60ish or so.

I think I have my can-tenna project at home somewhere you can use.
