I trust the fact that you have no idea how that cage would react in a wreck, like the a-pillar downtubes collapsing into your leg. Cages aren’t there to “not look like ass” they are there to keep you alive, two holes in the dash aren’t going to hurt anything and will allow for a proper downtube.
