looking for one…maybe a UB student who doesnt want their copy. i got hosed with one from ebay. worked for like 3 months and today i got a thing from MS saying that it is not genuine…wtf
anyone?

google RemoveWAT removes the activation for good and allows you to still update been using it for quite a while now no issues works for 32bit or 64 hope that helps GL

Legit as in legal or legit as in works? Legal no, works yes, for now anyway.
It’s just a hack to remove the validation check but still allow you to get updates. Eventually Microshaft will find a way to detect it and include that detection in a Windows update and you’ll get the little “you’re not authentic” error again, at which point the hackers will just find another way to crack the activation.
The game is all about making it inconvenient enough that the majority will buy legit software while knowing full well that a techy minority will always be able to steal shit.

Kinda like Ubisoft’s DRM?
That worked really well.
fudging over every legit customer, and only delaying the pirated release a week.
