Anyone have an idea of how much Windows 7 might go for at UB? Student prices ftw! ---

its not going to be cheaper than 30 bucks, I can probably guarantee that. ---

Should 7 even be attempted on old PC’s? Like P4 pc’s with 512MB ram? ---

Its not 7 ultimate, just pro. But for most people pro is good enough. And one of the reasons this OS is so improved is because it uses alot less system resources to run. Boot times are faster as well. So for those of you using XP who still havent upgraded your system to adopt vista, should be alright on windows 7. And if your system only has 512mb ram, spend $20 out of the money your are saving on windows 7, and buy yourself another 512 ram. You should be alright with a gig. ---
