Ya. I already have it burned to DVD. I’m debating if I want to upgrade from 5728 or wipe it and do a clean install. I want to see if it will finally recognize my RAID array…

FYI, if anyone is running this and couldn’t get the Aero interface to work, I have found a solution.

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM\Composition \<-- set it to 1

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM\CompositionPolicy \<-- set it to 2

Then go to a command prompt as administrator and type “net stop uxsms” hit enter. Then type “net start uxsms” hit enter. Aero should now work.

I upgraded from RC1 to RC2. It took a bit longer than doing a clean install, but it worked.

yea but you have to download the entire DVD :tdown:

im not going to bother, RC1 is working fine for me

any different than beta2?

I d/led it, but havent yet installed it as I don’t want it to screw up grub/ubuntu… even though vista is in the startup menu, I’m not sure that it would work properly anymore

I just got hit by a nasty virus using Win2k, and beta 2 sucks so it looks like I’ll be upgrading for now.

They took it down when they hit 100,000 I think. I have it on DVD. Or you can find it on torrent sites I think.
