# Windsheild wiper question & rant

So I go into the local auto parts store for new wiper blades and the guy behind the counter notices I am looking at replacement blades and says, “Can I help you look up blades for your car”?  
I reply with, “I just need 22” blades".  
He says, “I need to know what car they are for”.  
I tell him they are for a 2002 Audi Allroad and he tells me, “They may not fit one of them foreign cars”.  
(This is a common response given at Springville parts stores.)  
So I told him that is why I am looking at BOSCH blades.  
He looks it up and tells me they won’t fit and walks away.(?!?)  
So I look up rain-x blades and find a 22" for the Allroad.  
I get back to work and try to put them on and to my surprise they won’t fit either!!!  
WTF?!?!?!?  
I have never seen this type of attachment on a wiper.  
My question is: Do I have to give the stealership money to replace my f’ing wipers?!?
