# windshield wipers: intermittent wiping doesnt work

hey guys i have a s13 my windhsield wipers work fine on position 2 and 3, but the intermitten wiping position they dont move at all, and the knob that rotates on the end of the wiper stick doesnt do anything, is there a controller relay that controlls intermittent wiping ? anyone else have this problem ? what do you guys think…

yeah but that control modual is in two different places (i Believe)
I my S13 the control modual is the green box next to the clutch M/C in the engine compartment… the wiring harness that runs throught the drivers side front wheelwell has 4 or 5 wires that go directly into the engien compartment by the firewall, these conect to the modual.
I know because my oversized winter tires chewed those wires up, and I had to fix them… solving this problem

if the relay is fine i’d check the connection and do a continuity test at the switch. if you open up the panels surrounding the steering column, you’ll see the switch and arm mounted to the column with a bunch of wires running into it … use a test light to check it.

should i be continuity or what ?
