I drove by a new pole barn yesterday and my 3 year old daughter mentioned it as we drove by. My dad just told me it got blown over. ---

Hoover Beach always gets hammered when its windy like this. Wish I wasn’t stuck here or I’d go down to take some pics too. ---

uploading my pictures right now, but what i find interesting is that we have the windiest day of the year in buffalo and the windmills along the water arent even moving…wtf? ---

Which would keep them operating, but I’m not sure at what wind speed that isn’t able to work. Each blade can rotate on it’s axis perpindicular to the turbines so they should be able to adjust in a way to keep the turbine speed down. ---

BTW, that red tip that you see sticking out of the water was a kayak.
