This is really the first time I took my camera out to use it…still need to work on a few things, but I’m happy with it. damn, if it were a little warmer I’d be up for some jetskiing. I wish the waves could be like that when it was at least 70\* out. ---

The winds were \< 50mph. I was in Texas and they tell me how they would rather deal with hurricanes than snow we get. Personally, I would be scared as hell of a hurrican 3x more worse than this. ---

It’s all relative. They are more prepared for hurricanes, we are more prepared for snow. I’d take the snow anyday. At least when the storm stops, you can go out and bomb around in fresh powder. ---

The winds were unbearable for me, granted I’m 5’5" 170lbs., the wind almost knocked me over. I can’t imagine how these kids felt. ---

Oh I also saw a football being washed to shore, couldn’t snap a picture quick enough though. Hamburg beach was by the worst for debris, but when I went out to the rock wall where all the kids were, there were large logs being tossed up with certain waves. It wasn’t very smart for them to be standing there. Sure its cool to get hit with the waves, but when there’s a massive log coming with it, not so cool anymore. ---
