# Winter Beater

I need something asap. It must be 4x4 (or awd), under $1000, and preferably 5 speed. i really dont care if the thing is a beater, just as long as it runs and drives good. Thanks.

I’m not sure how much you want to spend but I have a 98 legacy gt awd 5spd that would be in the 2k range

sorry i forgot to mention that i am looking for something in the under 1000 range. thanks for the offer though.

I’ll take $500

Does need front brakes done, muffler, and needs front suspension bushings replaced - track bar, control arms, etc. When driving, it wanders and this is probably the issue. Maybe alignment, but probably bushings. Probably $200 worth of work. It is a beater.

This jeep is tempting me now… How did you come up with the price for the repairs?
