I hate people that drive like assholes in snow. Yes, you may be able to gain traction with 4wd or whatever but you still can’t stop fast. Stop being a menace.

I’m glad I don’t have to travel north of hamburg very often. easy going from arcade to ellicottville and back to hamburg tonight. Probably 6" of very heavy snow and a layer of freezing rain at holiday valley.

I found a nice “course” in a parking lot. They had plowed the snow up around light poles.
Peak drift angle was just over 71 degrees staying on course. You can see it was like a figure 8 and a half.
At 130 seconds I tried to see if I could touch my bumper against the snow. I got the placement just right and the car was facing straight at the pole while sliding around it, but didn’t have enough inertia to slide around and the car stopped. Aside from that it was a continuous run. You can see at the top of the top circle on the map where I stopped, backed up a couple feet and started back up.

Got briefly stuck about 10 times over a period of 9 hours of delivering, and once I got home, I got stuck in my driveway for about 30 minutes, :fail:

I got stuck twice last night… winter tires = :tup: :tup:
Lowered 2 inches = :tdown:
Side streets in north buffalo = :tdown::tdown:
I was hunting down a parking space that I might not get stuck in and once one came up that might have been a possibility, I made the mistake of slowing down. I got out of the car and saw rough snow with two grooves in front of me, and a nice flat surface behind my car trimmed down an inch or two… So I bottomed out twice.
But I did get some quick drift action in after going out with the girl and her friend… her friend was freakin out in the back seat when I was drifting through a parking lot.

Yeah girls tend to do that lol. I had my ex in my truck last winter (when we were still goin out) and her friend and I was drifting in a parking lot and they were freaking out lol. it was great.

My girlfriend was having a blast, but because of the back end swinging around and her friend being in the back seat… she definitely got it a lot more then we did

yeah my ex was just very nervous with other people driving. I drive an S-10 in the winter…I’m pretty good and getting out of drifts lol.

i got stuck for a lil bit at work last night, turned onto comet off delaware, had to go slow cause of other cars turning onto delaware and got stuck in a 2’ plow pile, locked the rear diff, backed up a lil, then went forward no problem… i love plowing through this shit and watching ppl look at me like im nuts lol
