so I have to extend some wires
.

one of them. it’s not a copper wire w/ the plastic around it…

but the wire has a copper core, surrounded by plastic and then has wires wrapped around it. followed by a plastic outer shell

what are those… and
how do I extend those?!

are those shielded wires? if so… do I need to also extend the sheilded wrap metal too? !!!

If you are referring to the MAF harness, I just cut mine and just extended with some electrical wires of the same gauge (solder/shrink wrap).
Someone else will have to explain why they are shielded.
